This is a plugin that can rename your video files using information from your database. A beta version!
Cannot create folders, just renames video files. Enter a pattern using the listed variables and any other characters, then preview what happens, apply if you like it. There is an "Undo" button that allows to rename files back (if you haven't closed the plugin window yet).
An example of a pattern:
%T - %Dmin
will rename your file to something like:
avatar - 162min.avi
The plugin shows all files from your database, you can remove certain files by highlighting them in the list and hitting the "Delete" key on your keyboard. Multiple filenames can be highlighted.
You can use "<" and ">" to avoid inserting empty values. Consider the following format:
%CO is a variable for video codec. If the video codec info is available for the file, it will be renamed to something like:
However, if the video codec info is not available, you will get
Which doesn't look good. That's what < and > are for. Try
If there is no video codec info, this one will be renamed to
Please note that only first variable in such brackets is evaluated, and if it's empty, the complete expression is dismissed. Try this format:
If there is no video codec info, the genre variable is dismissed, too, even if the genre info is available. Try the opposite:
Suppose that genre is available, but there is no video codec. We will get:
If this looks scary, just don't use the brackets
Just unzip the files to Movienizer\Plugins in Program files.
Bug reports and feature requests are welcome.
