So, I need a example of use to make my own script.
I understand that movienizer's creater hasn't time to make scripts... So I want help him.
Also, I want know if is possible create movienizer template of web viewer. ¿Is it possible? ¿How?

 Re: Script Directory
It depends on your system. If you have Windows XP, then the directory is located at C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Application Data\Movienizer\Scripts If you are using Windows Vista, you will find scripts in c:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Movienizer\Scripts Your system should be set to show hidden files and folders. YourUserName should be replaced by the user name that you use to login to your system. An easy way to get to the folder on the both systems is to enter %AppData%\Movienizer\Scripts into the address field of Windows Explorer.

 Re: Script Directory
Wikipedia is great. I believe, learning programming languages is very different from learning spoken languages. In programming, you can easily switch from one language to another, there are many common elements. I remember when I was asked to help with some code written in Java a long time ago. A that time I knew nothing about Java, but I was able to find the source of the problem in a couple of minutes. So, maybe you can try writing some script yourself? With spoken languages, if you speak English, this doesn't automatically mean that you can speak French. With programming languages, using C means that you can easily understand Pascal. Or am I wrong?

 Re: Script Directory
Is it possible to change the default directory to the same folder as the movienizer.exe? This helps ppl like me who want to keep the entire installation in the same place - preferable in an external hard disk and not in the system directory.

 Re: Script Directory
It's the purpose of the portable version : if you run portable.bat or 'movienizer.exe /portable' you'll then use the portable version which runs scripts located in scripts subfolder from movienizer program folder. JeF

 Re: Script Directory
OK that helps. What I don't get though is why do we need to keep the same in two different places. What harm does it do if we always let it run from the main movienizer folder? In other words, what is the purpose of keeping anything in the APPDATA dir?

 Re: Script Directory
We'd better ask Microsoft, as it's them who develop the operating system and set up policies

 Re: Script Directory
Well it's not a question of who makes the policies. All I wanted to understand is if it is mandatory for all apps to use that directory. Normally it's not.
