which function have the filmography options. Even if they are ticked or not, I don't see any diffference.

You will see the difference on the page of an actor after changing the options and refreshing the page.
First option turns on or off displaying of movies which are not in your collection in actor's filmography list.
The next four options turn on/off indicating of "In collection", "Wanted", "Seen", "For sale" icons near the movies in actor's filmography list.
"Show icons on the right (not left)" option is self explanatory and concerns icons mentioned above.
The last option enables you to sort the filmography list by year or alphabet order.
