Hello,
I wanted to add a movie by barcode but the webcam scanner didn't find the barcode.
And I had to run movienizer as admin otherwise I got a black screen. See the attachment.
Any ideas?
The webcam works fine with other programs.
I'm using movienizer 4.3 build 227

Thank you for the report. Do you have full privileges on your computer with the account you use?
Did your webcam succeed in reading the code, but Movienizer could not find it, or did the webcam fail reading the barcode?

yes I have full privileges with my account.
The webcam failed reading the barcode. The cam didn't find any barcode.

Please try to select another Videomodus (the second dropdown list on the right).
You can also play with webcam settings (The "Einrichtungen" link).

I've tried every Videomodus the camera was able to do.
And I also tried another webcam. But the result was the same.
Both cameras failed reading any barcode.

Did you play with the recognition settings? Maybe it would need more light?

I've tried different settings and diferent webcams but nothing worked. Even I tried it by daylight, but no result. The webcams won't read any barcode.
