It Would be possible in next maj to manage the party disc # in the thumb-index editions.

I explain: when they take in a number, one do not know if this one is already used or not? if it was possible, to be able to show the next available number will be great.

In JeF's interface, you'll find a Disc# numbering tool (Database Toolbox Page). This tool can show the highest numeric value found in editions for disc# ('DISPLAY Counts relative to disc#' link).
In coming v25 of JeF's interface, a new feature (option driven) will be available which enables automatic incremented number to be assigned to edition disc# just after movie creation/update.

Wait for the next script is my advice Jef has a beautifull option implemented in v25 which couold be exactly what you want as Jef has already revealed this I can safely say I'm currently testing the feature.
