Post Not Much Works After Upgrade
Hi

Today I updated to the latest version and purchased the License.....

What seems weird is that things that I really need either are not visible, or simply don't work.

For example, I am mainly interested in the "What it is" (DVD, VHS, Blu-Ray), "Where it is" (One of my 10 CD Racks, Loaned Out, In its' original Case, etc...) and I have been unsuccessful in finding that data now that I have upgraded to 4.1.

Case in Point. Movie: 10,000 B.C. (The first movie in my collection list). I want to know which CD Rack it is in (entered in Movienizer 2), if I have it on loan, and if it is DVD or Blu-Ray. Apparently after the update, I lost all of that information.

When I went to use the "Quick Filter" option, it doesn't do anything! So I can't sort/view my collection by any option and it doesn't look like I can figure out where any of my discs are.

Help would definitely be appreciated! I had entered data for 441 movies in version 2.0 and I've gotta say, I liked that version a lot more. It seems while Movienizer has been evolving into a paid program, it is getting really bloaty with features that frankly, I really don't care all that much about. I really wanted to "Organize" my collection and after paying (and updating/upgrading for about an hour), I feel like I've lost the "Organization" function in favor of something that tells me about the movie via the Internet (and trust me, I already know about my movies!)....

Anyway, my "Bug" is that I need my location and media format (DVD/VHS/Blu-Ray) data displayed by default for every movie. Is there a way to recover whatever seems to be hidden and have it display (like it did in Version 2)?

I am more than happy to submit my database if (anyone) thinks they need to look at it!

Thanks

Did you convert your Movienizer 2 database into Movienizer 3 first? Please note that you cannot upgrade from Movienizer 2 to Movienizer 4 skipping the 3.x generation. Please install Movienizer 3, recover your Movienizer 2 database from a backup, convert it, then upgrade to Movienizer 4.
