I am using Movienizer 5.3 on a Windows 7 64 bit system and cannot explain why the left column width changes continuously. Each and every time Movienizer is opened and closed the width changes (each time from full window, although it changes in half window too). I have watched the registry values (LeftPartWidth) and they are changing as well. These are the registry values for several open/close cycles in order: 461,576,720,900,1125,1406,1758,2198, & then 320. And yes, the left column eventually takes up the entire screen, and then appears to start over again. I am running at 1920x1080 resolution and just did a fresh install today with no difference. It's more an annoyance than anything else having to resize every time the program opens, but maybe someone has a solution, it's certainly not saving the last column position when closing.

Could you please post a screenshot of the window as you use it (i.e. not the reset one)?

This is a screen shot when opening today before I resized anything. I would normally keep the left pane about a third of what's shown here.

If the right pane is smaller than the left one, the divider will be reset.

It doesn't matter which pane is larger or smaller when it happens, it changes every time. The only time the left will appear smaller is the next time I open the program after the left has taken up the entire screen the previous session. It happens without fail every time I close and reopen the program. I had been using the program for some time without this occurring in XP. I wish I could remember if it started when I installed Windows 7 or when I updated Movienizer but I can't. Like I said before it's just an annoyance, the program works fine otherwise.

Just some final information. This problem has persisted since my original post every time I used the program, but after upgrading to version 5.6 today, the problem has gone away. I can't explain why it started or why it stopped but something changed between versions 5.3 & 5.6. Whatever it was I'm glad to no longer have to resize each time the program opens.
