'Cause the "older" german translation looked like "babel-fished", here's a new german language file:

Thank you for your update. Unfortunately, it looks like you have removed all keyboard shortcuts and other important control characters. Please also check if your translations fit the corresponding fields, as in most cases you use the longer versions.

Unfortunately, no. That's the whole point :)
Thank you for helping us.

Hi Spikey,

thank you for your corrections, it looks good.
Do you believe that the semicolon should be added at the end of every field's name? For example, you added semicolons:
166=Titel:
167=Originaltitel:
168=Format:
169=Jahr:
and so on. We believe that it isn't necessary, and it isn't used in other language files.

I would also suggest that the name of the program shouldn't be in quotes, i.e. just Movienizer, not "Movienizer".

As for "downgeloadet" (you also use "downgeloaded"), there is a strange situation about this word. It obviously comes from English. In German, there is a similar word: herunterladen. Now, Microsoft (that usually sets standards) has used the word "herunterladen" (heruntergeladen) in the previous versions of Windows, then I saw "gedownloadet", then "downloadet" (all in official translations). Now, I'm curious which one we should use :lol:

For some menu items, shortcuts are still missing (a keyboard shortcut is defined by &). Shortcuts are normally used together with the "Alt" key to access menus faster.

The most important thing, how does it look like? See, we don't use the German interface much ourselves (only for testing), and we really need some people that speak German for the feedback. Anyway, when using the program with this language file, you will probably find some space for improvement :). If some text labels don't fit, please let us know or readjust them.

Again, thanks for the help!

downgeloadet is not an appropriate translation as there officially is the "heruntergeladen" and "runterladen"in the German language (as in MS standards) better to use them throughout the whole translation.

When the file is ready I offer to test it and give feedback if needed.

Keep up the good work :P
