Post IMDB question
I know i can set the imbd tt code as title, but i wonder if someone knows why titles are not found sometimes .
the directory and the iso both are named : "The Turin Horse (2011) "
see: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1316540/
in the script settings i tried "search by AKA" and "alternative search" (what is this?)
Thanks

You may need to remove years from your titles. Somehow IMDB does not like years :)

That didn't have any effect, ( this time) i changed the title to "A Torinói ló",the original title and it worked.
I have been renaming my files to the english name as given at imdb, because in the past it wouldn't find the movies if given the original name.
I just tried it on a number of foreign movies, and indeed ,recognition is much better with the original name.
example : this : "La leggenda del pianista sull'oceano" was recognized, this : "The Legend of 1900 (1998)" was not .
Maybe something changed...........

I have found this to be true if the file is titled Super 8 2011. If the movie file is titled Super 8 (2011) then IMDB has no problem finding it.

As you can see in my example "The Turin Horse (2011) " the date is in brackets.
I think either at IMDB or the script has changed, most my movies are in this format, see my second post.
