Post Short titles problem
I can't add movies with short name like war, pi, x2 and p2. The 3 first I've add using an 'aka' name, but P2 has no alternative name to shearch. I've tried with imdb and dvdempire, both shows a empty list.

Any ideas?

You can add movies with too short title as following:
1. Add some person from the movie through "Add person"
2. Find the movie in his or her filmography.
3. Click the movie and hit "Download".

Hmmm! I searched for one of the stars and found him. I then found the movie in the list of movies he has been in but I don't see any "download" button.

My experience with short titled movies has been very educating. eg. The movie "M" if you look up Imdb it will tell you in Australia was titled "Fritz Langs M" try that and you get "M". Also look for someone who has done very few movies in the cast, download the info and find the movie, download info, then delete the actor and all you have then is maybe an extra few movies in your database

Yes, this is another way to deal with too short titles, use another version of the title.
Why are people so preoccupied with database records? This is the way database-based applications work. If you buy a DVD, do you erase actors on its cover that you don't want in your collection? :D

Thanks for the possible solution. Unfortunately, no movies appear when I enter any of the listed actors at IMDB for the movie "Good". When I enter Viggo Mortensen, the only one that appears is Eastern Promises. Odd since the example in the search result is a History of Violence and that movie doesn't even appear in the filmography. Seems illogical.

Thank you

Do you enter Viggo Mortensen into the "Add movie" dialog?
